After several successful chip redistribution events at the WSOP, ATMwithNoPIN™ is taking a one-week maintenance break before returning to Las Vegas for another round of tournament donations.
After careful review of my recent WSOP performance, the ATMwithNoPIN™ management team has announced a temporary suspension of operations.
The decision follows several highly successful chip transfer events, including:
• The $1,500 Monster Stack
• The $1,700 Circuit Event
• The $500 Bracelet Event
• Various cash games that should remain unnamed for legal reasons
Following these transactions, management determined that the ATM requires scheduled maintenance.
Over the next week, I will focus on:
• Recharging confidence levels
• Rebuilding bankroll morale
• Studying poker strategy videos that I will completely forget during actual hands
• Convincing myself that folding is a real option
• Reviewing all-in decisions that seemed brilliant at the time
The break is necessary.
Not because I'm tired.
Not because I'm frustrated.
But because the poker community deserves a brief opportunity to accumulate chips before I return.
Friends have asked whether this break means I'm giving up on the WSOP.
Absolutely not.
In fact, every tournament exit has only strengthened my belief that the next tournament is the one where everything changes.
Poker players have a unique superpower.
We can bust three tournaments in a row and still wake up the next morning convinced we're about to become world champions.
I am no exception.
Vegas, therefore, has not seen the last of ATMwithNoPIN™.
In one week, I will return.
The hat will return.
The optimism will return.
The questionable all-ins will almost certainly return.
Somewhere in Las Vegas there is a bracelet with my name on it.
Unfortunately, several thousand players appear to be looking for the exact same bracelet.
Until then, ATMwithNoPIN™ is officially undergoing maintenance.
Please check back next week when regular chip redistribution services resume.
